Love McCraven’s Where We Come From but unfortunately it was released in 2018. You might wanna rejigger you list so you can put those 20 points towards an eligible release. Your list is pretty great regardless.

So many people on this forum seem to be absolutely loving this album! I love this album but am surprised to see it topping quite a few of people’s lists! 📈🎖

Nice to see Stella Donnelly on your list though as well! That was definitely my favourite Australian album of 2019! ❤️

Overall, a spectacular year in music! I didn’t include Caroline Polachek, Charli XCX or Little Simz as I doubt any of them would have any chance of making the top 10 in this list for N&G’s top albums of 2019!

Tyler, The Creator - IGOR = 20 points

Lizzo - Cuz I Love You = 20 points

Billie Eilish - WHEN WE FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? = 15 points

Weyes Blood - Titanic Rising = 15 points

The Comet Is Coming - Trust In The Lifeforce Of The Deep Mystery = 15 points

FKA Twigs - Magdalene = 15 points
@Woob_woob - I promise this is only a one-off! But I’m going to completely change my list. I’ve been looking at everyone’s lists and have been seeing Little Simz getting some good recognition, and I love her album “Grey Area” so much! I’m also really happy to see Freddie Gibbs & Madlib getting some recognition too! 🙏

So here is my FINAL 2019 list! 👀

Tyler, The Creator - IGOR = 20 points

Little Simz - Grey Area = 20 points

Billie Eilish - WHEN WE FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? = 15 points

Weyes Blood - Titanic Rising = 15 points

Solange - When I Get Home = 15 points

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Bandana = 15 points

I do love both artists, but ‘Crushing’ was the clear album of the year for me.

You really thought this was the best album of the year?!?! 🤔🧞‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I wouldn’t have thought that Carly Rae Jepsen
would’ve topped your end-of-year list! I’m very happy however, to see Caroline Polachek’s “Pang” be rewarded 10 points from you! ❤

My list was strategic. I left out several albums that made my personal list because I knew you all would cover them for me. I included mostly women and pop on my list for this thread to make sure they got represented in the master list.

And yeah, I did love the CRJ album. It was my most listened to. Spotify tells me she was my most listened to artist of the decade. So I went with it.

So...I just looked over this whole thread and I'm shocked, shocked, mind you, that one of the best records of the year didn't get one mention by anyone. And it's not even the usual weird stuff that only I like.

Did everyone just miss Mercury Rev - Bobbie Gentry's The Delta Sweete Revisited? It must have flown under your radar.

It's performed and arranged by Mercury Rev with a different guest female vocalist on each track. It's gorgeous.

Off the top of my head I can think of @Teeeee @Kris @Lee Newman @mcherry @gaporter @GritNGlitter @nolady @tvham @Aron @Twentytwo and a whole bunch of other people I'm forgetting that would probably dig this.

Just don't want to see anyone miss out...
