TBH, the more I think about it, shouldn’t the past tense of “DWELL” be “DWELLED”?

I looked it up and apparently both are acceptable but “DWELT” is more of a UK thing while “DWELLED” is how we tend to say it in the USA.

I believe I have once or twice. I would say lived before the word, which is more likely what most Americans would say, I expect. dwelling on the other hand is a word I use frequently.
