Listening to El Mocambo 1977 got me in the mood to revisit some of my favorite live rock records. After blasting through Motorhead - No Sleep til Hammersmith I logically followed up with Hawkwind - Space Ritual.
From Space Ritual I’ve moved on to Yes and their live extravaganza from 1973
Not sure I’m going to make it through all six sides of this epic odyssey. Finishing disc one, side two now. I think I’ll engage an edited path through the next two records.
Fully enjoying Yessongs requires a certain amount of commitment I can’t quite immerse myself in at the moment.
