Back in her idol years with slick new wave and synthpop bops. Her music became a lot darker shortly after this record.
Had to pass on several of her others I found due to condition issues. They'll be mine eventually.
Found this unplayed 2023 reissue for a disturbingly cheap ¥680 in the Shibuya Disk Union, about the same price as the bowl of udon I ate half an hour later. I suspected it was a pricing error, and I think it truly was, but they honored it. I sold my scratchy and beat to hell original to a local just a few weeks prior, so excellent timing.
No misses in this city pop group. Don't feel guilty about purchasing five of theirs this past vacation (one of them unknowingly a greatest hits; later sold), as they are insanely easy to DJ with in a set.
