Jackpot Records on SE Hawthorne is a good store though, and it's a good place to pop into for a short visit before or after a longer visit to Music Millennium on E Burnside. If you're jonesing for an Everyday Music visit while in that area, there's one on NE Sandy that's pretty close.I used to go to the Jackpot off Burnside when I would hit Everyday Music, but now that Crossroads has moved from Hawthorne, I just don't get over to that one as much anymore. And now that the Everyday Music in Beaverton has closed, my Portland record shopping trips have slowed a lot.
This is such a fantastic album.Instead of going the anthology route I invested in some Music Matters releases. I wasn't familiar with this Jazz Messengers album before - really glad I pulled the trigger
