This is as close to church as I get on Sunday morning.

I'm so not religious it hadn't even occurred to me until I read your post that this is the perfect day to listen to this. This compilation is amazing and given it's the fourth amazing gospel funk/soul compilation I've got it's fair to say there's a lot of great music out there

@agutierrezb N&G AOTM. Because its so hard to find on vinyl I’m delighted that Qobuz have a really nice sounding 24/96 digital version to stream! I’ll pick up the vinyl if its repressed or discogs/eBay dickhead drops his price again.

This is far outside of my normal wheelhouse that I’m not sure I’m qualified to even pass comment. What i can say is, unreal guitar skill and wow the emotion, this thing is positively dripping with emotions!

Always amazed at how good this sounds and how loud it’s cut considering it’s a 49 min single LP. I don’t think the reissues are well regarded - not sure what they did wrong the second time around.
