The National - I Am Easy To Find - Cherry Tree variant

I just fucking love this band and the way they've grown and evolved (dare I say matured) their sound. Every album of theirs grows on me with each listen, this one is so goddam beautiful. I love all the guest vocalists, it feels like a welcoming, open arms, family environment. The music is strongly themed, deeply sad and equally deeply beautiful.

I forgot there were 3 Good God instalments. I recommend Born Again Funk and Gospel Funk Hymnal. I never quite got into the 3rd one.

As terrible covers go this is right up there. It also totally doesn't fit the music which is fabulous parranda, porro, cumbia and more from Colombia in the 1950s. It's the same Curro Fuentes covered in the Cartagena compilation from Soundway. Candelazos Curro Vol 1 (and yes it's raining in Oslo again)
