Cavallo “Interstices”. Always liked die-cut covers. Super nice cut cover designs on both front & back. May not show in pic but colored inner sleeve also has spot gloss applied. There is also a colored vinyl version. Pressing is good. Sound is fine but intentionally mixed with distortion. Music is good too. :). Nicely done all around.

It's a winner alright, Milestones is great and when Tony Williams joined I read that it was one of his favourite tunes and wanted Miles to start playing it live again , although this is technically a "Sextet" recording with the addition of Cannonball .

#63: Miles Davis - Milestones

This may be a sacrilege to some, but this is my favorite 1st quintet album. Yes, I prefer it over KOB. The performances swing SO hard, Trane and Cannonball intertwine their playing beautifully, and the composition on the title track is just beautiful, and - pun intended- miles ahead of its time.
