There was a really limited Japanese repress of it before Christmas that I managed to get a copy from. Would never have known if @MikeH hadn’t done me a solid and tagged me in the post in the pre order thread!

Man, J just gets me. I don’t think he’s ever played on a track that I didn’t enjoy and this is just another brilliant album.

I will say this one feels slightly more plugged in than his other solo albums. A few tracks on here coulda probably made it on the next Dinosaur Jr. album still mostly acoustic though. Not sure where it ranks yet amongst J solo albums but it’s the first new release I have purchased on wax this year and will likely make it on my year end list when 2024 is wrapping up.

I'm not sure if there's general Black Pumas fatigue but I really enjoy this album.
