Rough Trade jumped the gun and shipped preorders out on the new Slift a mth early b4 release date. They asked not to post audio samples from it but never said I couldn’t spin this mother. Sounding good so far.

Been listening to Romy's (of the xx) Boiler Room set obsessively. It's a love letter to turn-of-the-century trance music and has a bunch of queer undertones throughout. Just an absolute joy of a set that's rekindling my love of a genre I'd long since forgotten.



Her album is pretty killer too if you're into that sort of thing:
