What's Spinning

The Collection Playthrough:

125 - The Who - Who's Next
126 - Sugarland - Love On the Inside

The former is a classic which was a one dollar grab from the past weekend. Given the cover damage, I was very pleasantly surprised when it played mostly flawlessly. Some surface noise on Side B / Track 1 but other than that not a visual or audible defect to be found.

The latter was a not-so-local-local pickup when I was traveling in Providence. I was in a record store that is almost entirely classic rock/older albums with some deeper indie...and this I guess. Not a world beater but for my money Sugarland was a bit of an oasis in late-2000s country music in that they were fun, easy to listen to, and pretty darn good at what they did. They also get kudos for the vinyl specifically because they used what would've been blank space on Side D to bring the full deluxe edition over when they could've just pressed the standard. This loops in a very good Matt Nathanson cover
