Its really great! There was an album called 'Dinner Party: Dessert' that was released for RSD which I believe is the same tracks but with guests (Snoop Dogg, Herbie Hancock, etc).

Another fantastic release from Ron Carter. Really enjoyable sessions with the more laid-back tracks being particular highlights. My copy is numbered at 1995 out of 1999.

This is my favorite Itabashi record and maybe even my favourite j-jazz record. Absolutely stunning music.

Crowded House - Dreamers are Waiting



As a huge Crowded House fan I have mixed feelings on this album, though I’m already digging it more spinning it than I did listening on Spotify.

After streaming these shows at least a couple dozen times I finally ordered a copy. Ridiculously sharp edges on the records, like cut yourself sharp, but the pressing is solid and the transparent green splatter looks good. The vocals take some getting used to on the Animals set, but after a couple listens it starts to really groove and offers a unique Pink Floyd interpretation.

So, I actually knew "Happiness" from when SciFi rebranded as SyFy and I 'm very nostolgic about the song, but didn't hear this album until earlier this year. Glad to say issa very good album. Like a more uptempo Aerial.
