Mannnn I saw him live around this time at a college (I was in high school) , I will never not think he's hilarious. It's part of my DNA for better or worse.

I fall in love with Nada Surf repeatedly throughout my life. They go away from the rotation for stretches but everytime I go back to these albums it feels like a brand new music swoon.
This one is really a low key classic. Honestly the first side alone is just an incredible string of power pop perfection. Sometimes I feel like they're a band too earnest to be really 'big' .
