The Rolling Stones - Big Hits [High Tide And Green Grass] (Decca, 1970 UK Pressing)
I picked this up at the carboot yesterday along with some other bits. I have never really connected with the Rolling Stones and although there's some good music here I cant see myself spinning it that often. Might have to put it on the PIF pile, although there is plenty of crackle at times.

Red Garland - Red In Bluesville (Prestige, 1959 First Mono Pressing)
Today would have been pianist Red Garland's 98th birthday. Fun fact about Garland, before he became a pianist he had an earlier career as a welterweight boxer in the 1940’s, where he fought more than 35 fights, one being an exhibition bout with Sugar Ray Robinson.
