Welcome - Introduce Yourself Here

Hello! Longtime listener, first time caller…

I’m Ed, based out of London. I’ve been a music obsessive for about 35 years, both listening and playing, and while my tastes are fairly eclectic I mostly lean towards americana and alt.country these days.

I’m mostly listening on a 1210 mk2 into a Marantz 1060 with a pair of Acoustic Research AR7s, and have a smaller setup in my office upstairs based around a Marantz 1030.
Welcome Ed!

Thanks for the add! My name is Randy, I live by Indianapolis. I’m one of those who had a great collection when I was younger, but through the years it went by the wayside! I’ve been back collecting for almost two years, and am really enjoying it! I lean towards the classics from the 60’s - 80’s, love the Blues (SRV, Rory Gallagher, etc…), but really I’ll listen to almost anything as long as it’s music!!!

Welcome, Randy!
I live about 3 hours north of Indianapolis.
We mostly listen to music here (there's some good-natured joking around, too).

Welcome Randy G!

That’s a lot of Ohio State gear you got on in your avatar. I was was gonna ask if you know our resident Randy also from the Midwest, @ranbalam but he’s a Michigan man so maybe that wouldn’t jive.

I’m an Illini fan so both regularly kick our ass (at least at football).

Yea, we are Buckeye fans; had season tickets for roughly 12 years, not anymore though. No, I’m new here, really don’t know anyone yet. I’m about a hour and a half from the U. of Illinois!

If Hutch and Tyleik Williams can co-exist on the same D-line, then the two Randys can certainly co-exist in a forum.

Welcome @Randy G.

Welcome Ed
I’ve always been into music heavy! Had a great collection when I was younger (I’m 66 now)! I used to spin records at the local bar. Then I got married, stereo started acting up, vinyl died. We sold off quite a few albums ( huge mistake). Anyways, was still into music but went the cd and digital route, have 4000-5000 tunes on my IPod. A couple years ago, my son got me two Queen albums for Father's Day, I was hooked again, 460 albums (in less than two years) later, here I am!!!
