Really excited about Halos and Horns next month, one of my absolute favorite Dolly records. Now if we could just get a repress of the Grass is Blue.

Hoping to get mine on Monday. I also went back and picked up some more Dollys when they hit the store a week or so back so they'll all be arriving at the same time. Guess it's gonna be a Dolly Kind Of Thanksgiving.

Kind of regret buying some of these before the code, but at least I’m getting Little Sparrow which sold out pretty quickly.
I got that one when it first dropped and it may be my favorite of the bunch so far.

Had not heard Dolly’s version of Deportees (Plane Wreck At Los Gatos) before getting 9 to 5 and Other Odd Jobs and it has just floored me. What a beautiful song, Dolly’s phrasing and lightness of touch are just beautiful and the way she adds a little twist with the pause in the chorus just lifts the song so much. She has so much humanity in her vocals, you can really feel for the characters, I nearly had tears in my eyes listening to it today…. Anyway, I’m a fan.
