I still want Pinkerton lol
I posted it on Reddit too. And Fugees. And maybe Fiona. I made somewhere between $500-$1000 on referrals. If you signed up for demon days via reddit that was probably through my referral. I broke their referral system on that one. It was fun
Lapsley is gonna skyrocket in value! Now that VMP is no more, do y’all think VMP pressings will appreciate in value over time?

OMG WOULD YOU GIVE HIM A MINUTE HE JUST GOT HERE
No but seriously @Paulium we ARE going to need you to fix everything that's wrong with Discogs by like... yesterday.
And if that's too soon then we're cool with tomorrow
Pauly, you were always the best of VMP and you helped me several times. You will be a great addition to Discogs, congrats and welcome here! @PauliumI am now a Community Support Team Lead at DiscogsGoing to be doing a very similar job over here that I was doing over at VMP!
Their social media outreach and the forums/discord built a great community that they struggled to manage. Paulie and Storf did a great job keeping the dedicated base of customers informed and involved. The old VMP forum represented the community spirit around music/vinyl that VMP originally claimed they wanted to build. When they dumped us in such an unceremonious way Needles&Grooves showed in a small but satisfying way what can happen when a group of people come together to save something they believe in. Still makes me smile
And, like u said the Monster died a slow death while Needle&Grooves lives on. Time to pull out that old Steppenwolf LP.

But I imagine it was always hard to build relationships on these platforms for vmp. Like, you have to be responsible for what people post on those platforms. when your company makes mistakes, it’s hard for employees and subscribers to not take it personally.
Yeaaaah…It's almost like they should have had some sort of website where users could go and post about records and build a community
Let the record show that @Tyr always knew Sev was the only good one of the bunch, and they did him dirty early on. Either way, the rest got their comeuppance I guess.Yeaaaah…
Hey, remember Sev? Oh, the good old days.
