I was coming to mention Natural Soul. My memory is foggy but I don’t remember any other individual titles from the Blue Note Anthology.

i can't imagine they pay their staff enough to give a shit about getting things like email content right the first time around. huge "we pay in CULTURE" vibes...
What I love about this, is that they don't actually issue a correction unless prompted on discord, and that correction is issued on discord alone.

Imagine living in Europe or something and planning around snagging that particular title, not having discord then wondering why that particular title isn't showing up.

Here, lemme help:

Subject: Throwback Thursday Correction

"We incorrectly stated that [insert title here] will be available as part of Throwback Thursday. We regret to inform you that this will NOT be available at this time."

AND SEND.

For the low low price of $54 dollars on amazing black vinyl.

lol, I remember the pic of a HUGE stack of these dumped at Goodwill.

I don't think there's a music store around that doesn't have an abundance of copies available. They need to heavily discount and dump these. They seriously overpressed the fuck out of this album.

EDIT: Rarewaves knows what's up. $21.99 + minimal shipping to Canada. Probably less if you go through their amazon store.

What the fuck is City Pop? Like isn’t all pop music City pop? Or is it like Owl City? Or is it like the soundtrack to simcity. The only thing worse than the deluge of music no one has ever heard of is the constant made up genre bullshit. I need some post-shoegaze art math showtunes, dammit.
Oh gawd here we go with Lee pretending not to understand how music genres/styles work again so he can be a crank.

Lee is pretending nothing. I May have heard of city pop before today now that I think about it. I still don’t understand the nuance between dream pop and shoe gaze. Grunge is made up to market cool nineties bands to you. I have no earthly idea what math rock is.

I do know rock, metal, jazz, blues, folk, country, classical.
