Live at the East, is of course a live recording. It captures the energy quite well and it has a few short speaking interludes. It doesn't take away from the album, but something to consider. Chapter Two I like more, probably because it is a studio recording.

Both are good, both have extensive color booklets. Live at the East would probably be more unique, but I bet in 6 months or less they will all be reprinted in black by some other place. I don't have E Ferro Na Boneca.

I was on the fence on a few releases ( wasn’t really considering this one) but after seeing it listed in this thread I gave it a go and jumped on the DB bandwagon.

My rankings of those is Floyd, Banks, Booker, and then Byrd. Floyd and Banks are fairly similar, that classic Memphis soul sound.
