Adventures in Aussie beer. Bit limited just now as we are in lockdown, but these are some pretty good supermarket craft beers. Been on a bit of a session/golden/lighter beer trip at the moment.
We also now have a second/beer fridge, so I can start stocking up!

First day back at work in three weeks today. Did three hours then everything got cancelled and I got sent home. Great day at work. A nice bottle conditioned light pale ale to start the evening.

A simcoe hopped pilsner from the Thornbridge subscription box, collaborated with Deya of Cheltenham, one of the hottest brewers this side of the pond at the moment. Nice beers alright but tend to be a touch on the pricey side.

This Red Rice Ale from Hitachino is a new one to me and it’s delicious. A light hint of strawberry coming through, lovely colour too.

Moving on to a single hop (Cryo Simcoe) IPA from Birmingham’s Glasshouse Beer Co.

Me too. Other than the Pale Ale they don’t pop up over here all that often so when I found a place that had the whole range in stock, I bought one of each. They’ve all been really good so far.

Our family walk around London on this public holiday was largely marred by Extinction Rebellion protests leading to several police closures but we’re home now, I’m still knackered and proper ready for a beer. This Oskar Blues Can-O-Bliss will do fine.

This is probably anathema to this thread, but since I can’t drink normal beers, I’m investigating low/NA beers to see if I can find one that doesn’t suck.
It’s the end of summer and I enjoy a beer, which I haven’t had in like almost three years now. That’s it. So I’m gonna make my little Labor Day weekend project a little taste experiment. I’ve heard good things about Dogfish Head’s offering, same with Clausthaler (sp?) and that “Athletic” label has been getting some reasonably decent reviews. Anything I should watch for (or avoid)?
