Stubborn dust on stylus?

So I've been playing with the dust cover down and I've noticed a considerable improvement with the dust on the stylus. I guess that was my issue all along.

Glad I saw this for informational purposes. I used liquid on my red but didn't have problems (granted only used it maybe once a month for a year). Is there any issue with using a stylus brush?
