Record Store Day 2021

I had a really interesting chat with my local dealer , the upfront costs of RSD releases to small businesses are staggering ...they have no idea of what will actually sell on the day and the crapshoot of online sales from 6pm is a nightmare as the whole world does the same.. they are just grateful to break even over the first weekend and then hope they shift some additional product..what was more interesting is the “regulars” like me are a very small number , only 18 of us put in any kind of wish list to help with the orders ...when I queue up by 3am I’m lucky to be in the top 20..by 8am there’s normally a few hundred people behind me ...that’s the problem for stores ..who are these on the day punters and will they show up ?
 
Just saw this on Reddit randomly from lunchboxrecords.. Pretty crazy, I expected a few more delays to happen but it turned into a pretty long list...

Also, it might be a bit different for the UK as I heard some of these are still making it out there in time.

Hopefully that means The Heartbreakers release will be easier to get whenever it comes out! I was thinking about picking up that Wailing Souls album too. Made my list a little shorter.

closest record shop is 45 min away from me and they only got one copy.so online is my only option and things aren't looking good this is a mega grail for me i'm gonna be really bummed if i miss out on this. :(
 
The Dee Gees / Foos album is a blast if you like disco, simultaneously super faithful with just enough Foos in there. My GF grabbed it and we're spinning it now, it'll be blasted soon. As a heads up, one half is Dee Gees and I think the other is straight Foos regular music.

The artist list on the Willie Nelson All Star Concert is top notch too. That one kinda snuck by me.
