Pre-Order Thread

I've never felt more conflicted... Love the band, love the album, but I really have to try and respect the vinyl diet. It's also up on Bandcamp.

Right into the "wait for 40% off at some point" bucket
Yeah, I'm likely gonna pass. It's a great record, but the white/black half and half is likely gonna have rotational whooshing issues when the stylus tracks across the white vinyl. And all the Sylvan Esso records I currently own are pretty mediocre pressings. Was looking at the olive pressing, but I'll never play the 7 inch and dont really want to drop $60 on this record for a few extra remixes.

This is tempting, but wonder if for as many times this has been issued, if we’re to the point of diminishing returns on remaster quality.

Very underrated DBT album.

it includes live recordings predominantly from the iconic manchester apollo and brixton academy. marr said he wanted to capture the atmosphere and feeling of the last couple of tours. it contains live versions of tracks from his solo records, 'playland', 'the messenger', whilst also including songs from earlier in his career, such as 'getting away with it'. 'adrenalin baby' also features several songs by the smiths, such as 'the headmaster ritual', 'how soon is now' and 'bigmouth strikes again'.

tracklist:
  1. playland
  2. the right thing right
  3. easy money
