What really picks my butt. When you do a pre-order on Amazon and there is a delay (not a big deal), they send you an email that says 'we don't know when we will get this.' But the listing for the item on the site makes it look like I would get it tomorrow if I ordered today.

Yup. I had ordered the Sonic Youth live album from Amazon and realized that was probably gonna happen to my order so cancelled and ordered from Rough Trade instead.What really picks my butt. Geez... my Amz order gives a delivery estimate - "Arriving Sep 5 - Sep 7" - I was hoping for much faster than that.

Thats why I don't order things on Amazon that don't have a estimated delivery date. I've have gotten emails about preorders getting delayed and while that is frustrating when it happens its not under Amazons control.What really picks my butt. I totally get that, delays happen all the time for various reasons. What gets me is the item is delayed, fine. But don't keep listing it as "free delivery tomorrow" if I order now, when that is definitely not the case.
They sent me a email on release day that there was a delay and did not know when it would ship. They should also update the listing in the store to say the same.
I know it is a tiny issue in a world of bigger issues. Still picks my butt.

really dislike the colors they chose and the awful color split wish they had standard black vinyl available.to me this is disappointing for a album i really want.

with the bonus track, this album runs about 46:00. why 2lp? setting aside the fact that this is not the kind of record that will benefit from the triple-flip 45rpm audiophile treatment, it’s also expensive and wasteful.

This is available cheaper on Bandcamp in other variants. Trying to decide if I need it or not. My wife and I saw Peeping Tom open for Gnarls Barkley when this album was out.

I ordered this last mon and was supposed to be out this Friday but got delayed to September. Dince i ordered ot with a visa gift card that expires at the end of the month im hoping i can cancel my order because if another delay happens or there are any other issues with my order i will lose out on that money. When i message them after placing the order i was told it would ship by the 24th. I don't want the album enough to wai for it to be released as I'd rather spend that on a different album.
