Yeah, Avett's best albums are way behind them and the ones they really need to release on vinyl they won't.
i thought they don't own the rights or something weird with the label for their early stuff.Yeah always has been weird they haven't put out that early stuff. Guessing they're digital masters that don't exist anymore? Would be an easy one for vmp to do as an essential, country, or even an anthology

tons of albums out there that never get reissued due to disagreements, damaged relationships and contractual things sadly.Wouldn't surprise me but you'd still think everyone would come together for money. That's usually how it works
hmm could have sworn that was the hold up a year or two ago. Those were on Ramseur records whom the Avett Brothers seem to still have a relationship with.
Unless the masters were destroyed then there is absolutely no reason in the world to not release-re-release these.hmm could have sworn that was the hold up a year or two ago.
yet here we are....no reissues still!Unless the masters were destroyed then there is absolutely no reason in the world to not release-re-release these.
it’d be cool to get Country Was and Live at the Double Door. I bet the masters are no more on the early Ramseur stuff. Those were on Ramseur records whom the Avett Brothers seem to still have a relationship with.
