I got a copy from Amazon and I don't notice any issues with mine as it sounds really good.Not a pre order, but the new Aldous Harding has some terrible surface noise. So I emailed 4AD asking if they could do anything? Got this response:

Yea--I guess I'm also wondering if we'll end up just seeing this version in local shops, etc since it's black vinyl. I remember with Scum Fuck Flower Boy, I ordered the website version then the regular black version ended up coming out first haha.
There was a black vinyl with the standard cover for IGOR too.
It popped up on Amz.ca this morning. $60CDN for 2.5 records is a bit steep but I will probably get it. Sadly they did not include the 2 Ranking Rogers tracks that were released digitally yesterday.
