New Snoop today, hadn't seen that one mentioned yet.

I've just listened to the new Snoop album and like it. Great beats, and very many guests. Parts of it remind me of "Doggystyle".

While I can't say I have anywhere near the excitement for Snoop that I had in the 90s, I am looking forward to checking this out tonight.

The surprise album for me today is Joan As Police Woman, Tony Allen & Dave Okumu "The Solution Is Restless". It's a very chill, jazzy, ethereal album. I'm really impressed with it.

I'm just listening to that album. I absolutely can agree. It's a very good album and I'm also impressed. Will for sure be in my Q4 list.

This Irreversible Entanglements album is friggin' fantastic!

I think that this is the best release of the month. 99% chance it will find a spot in Tier II at the very least.

New EP from Lou Ridley. Full disclosure; a friend and someone I'm involved in the biz with. It's under the broad genre of country for sake of having to choose a genre. But really so much more. Soul / Singer-Songwriter too. She calls it anti-country country.



Highlights to me are "Blind Eye and "Dirt".

While I liked a lot of Nicole Atkins Italian Ice, I'm not sure I'm feeing where she's going with Memphis Ice so far. But I'll probably give that one a try. And the Green Day advanced singles for the BBC Sessions have been really great, so I should add that one to my list too!
