New Music Friday!

The surprise album for me today is Joan As Police Woman, Tony Allen & Dave Okumu "The Solution Is Restless". It's a very chill, jazzy, ethereal album. I'm really impressed with it.
I'm just listening to that album. I absolutely can agree. It's a very good album and I'm also impressed. Will for sure be in my Q4 list.

Arca!!!!! Can't wait for that.
And I'm ready for the Modern Nature to drop.

New EP from Lou Ridley. Full disclosure; a friend and someone I'm involved in the biz with. It's under the broad genre of country for sake of having to choose a genre. But really so much more. Soul / Singer-Songwriter too. She calls it anti-country country.

Highlights to me are "Blind Eye and "Dirt".

Yeah, looking ahead to 12/10, along with Glenn-Copeland and Jeff Parker, I'm looking to check out some EPs:

Jlin - Embryo
Nightlands - Moonshine (Dave Hartley, TWOD bassist)

While I liked a lot of Nicole Atkins Italian Ice, I'm not sure I'm feeing where she's going with Memphis Ice so far. But I'll probably give that one a try. And the Green Day advanced singles for the BBC Sessions have been really great, so I should add that one to my list too! 😄
