I've been following the Fish/Phish link and have seen that Phish have done 9 full album covers for their musical costume Halloween shows. Unfortunately, as far as I see none of the original records are from the 90s. One could even be connected to Columbo, Little Feat's "Waiting for Colombus" haha, but it's from 1978.

2 other interesting records from the 90s I found reimagined are Nas "Illmatic" (Elzhi with Will Sessions, Ellmatic) and Public Enemy "Fear of a black planet" (Brownout, Fear of a brown planet). But I doubt it's any of these.
