Has there been any No Time To Die discussions yet? Just finished watching it and still absorbing what I watched. I think I liked it, a nice mix of story, action and reveals. I wish I had watched a recap of the previous ones first though.
It's a kind of a mess, but I still found it pretty enjoyable. Some great set pieces, and nice wrap-up to Craig's tenure.

I enjoyed it, though could have used more Paloma! Probably my 2nd favorite Craig movie after Casino Royale.

I watched Attraction and Invasion: Attraction 2 over the weekend. I've been really enjoying a lot of Asian sci-fi lately and Soviet era sci-fi was fantastic. I haven't seen many contemporary Russian sci-fi movies recently so these caught my interest when I saw they were on Peacock. The plots leave a lot to be desired, but they look like they have huge budget special effects that are very impressive and accomplish that with very small budgets. There were some interesting sociocultural comparisons to be made between American centered and Russian centered narratives that deal with a global event, but no depth or philosophical engagement so they really are just the Russian version of American mindless films. I'd watch them again though if only for the visuals.

In a more perfect world, there are like ten sequels to M&C by now.
Master and Commander: The Near Side of the World

Mast3r and Commander: The Commanding

The Mast and The Furious

Master and Commander V: The Mastering

Master and Commandeer: The Seizing

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (Reboot)

You know, I thought that Nicole Kidman would be weird as Lucille Ball and for most of the movie she looks kind of off because I can't help but to think - this is Nicole Kidman... But I thought she did a good job overall and her mannerisms of "in-show" Lucy are spot on. I haven't seen enough of real life Lucille Ball footage to comment on if her portrayal is good but I thought she was realistic at the very least.
