yup, I think it's a fair price to get something of this magnitude a week early with 2 added tracks. I've spent more money on more useless crap just this week so I don't see why not support the artist with 40 bucks.

Also, the album is fucking fire and cinematic as fuck. Already listened to it 3 times in full and can say its worth the money.

They got back to me talking about once it returns to them they’ll send me an invoice for a reshipping fee and then resend it to the correct address 😂

Guess I’ll get back to them with a no way in hell am I paying for their or the USPS fuck up because my PayPal info is correct and the address provided was correct. Respectfully.


edit: it looks like the problem was somewhere along the line someone got the last digit of my zip code wrong.

More just unpredictable I think. Just realized he has an Instagram story where he says "we priced it prohibitively, I don't want you to own it" haha.

Apparently it is a loosie as well. I thought it was from the next album.

Nothing against supporting an artist at all, but the average price for a digital piece of music is about $1.29 which puts this album at the $20 mark through any streaming service. That's twice the price for an additional 2 tracks that will be on the vinyl, which we all know will sell for well over the $40 that the digital version is going for. Do you, but the economics just don't back up that premium for a product with zero scarcity.

I get what you mean. I just love supporting my favorites in any way I can. Even someone like Roc who is well known and big in the underground scene is still kind of niche in the grand scheme of music so I know hes not making much off streaming services. I also don't care for concerts and don't plan on ever seeing him live so my only ways of directly supporting an artist is through merch, vinyl releases, and this early release.

Fair enough. I'm definitely a concert goer so I definitely toss my money around in that fashion. All that said, I'm super excited to listen to it and it's an amazing collab.
