Day 22: Trouble

I haven't cracked this open since I snagged a damaged copy in the plaid room sale. These brothers cause each other trouble. When I saw them at Red Rocks, Noel pretty much stood in the corner and pouted the whole show. I felt bad because they were my brother in law's favorite band and I got him the tickets. Jet opened for them and put on such an incredible kick ass rock and roll show. After that Oasis felt like a huge letdown cause they had no energy on stage and clearly were just going through the motions at that point before they called it quits. My brother in law was really bummed, so I feel like they personally caused me trouble too.

That said, this show is good!

This is a great board and there are two beautiful, deserving words on there that must have their 15 minutes so I gotta post two records. These bands deserve more credit than they get as well...

Day 19 - Checkers - Play something with some jump to it

Caribou - Swim

Saw them live last week, and "Sun" turned into a 15-minute ever-building jam with people jumping and dancing all over.

Day 21 - Solitaire
Play an album that features only one performer OR play something you like to listen to when you're alone

Midori Takada - Through the Looking Glass

She produced and performed this entire work in seclusion. No one had any idea where Midori was during the time of its production.

I see the words "drain" and "skin" on the Scrabble board and can link them to the songs "Circle the Drain" and "Crawling in my Skin" on Color Theory, respectively.

Day 23: Scrabble
My wife and I played Scrabble last night, here's a pic of the final board. So: Play a song, album or artist related to any word you see on the board.

My grandma loved Yahtzee and Scrabble and would make me play with her all the time as a kid. She whooped my butt everytime until she got older, then I'd win sometimes but still rarely. I miss her, she was great.

If you are into this sort of thing, this is an excellent Hazy IPA to drink while listening to the Cramps.

Also, I take it back, there was one overlap with my game collection... here's a little thematic game.
