It’s not vinyl, per se, but I have been enjoying the hell out of streaming Todd Snider’s “Purple Versions” of his older albums. It’s just live versions in a studio with Todd kind of talking about the album and songs.
Loving that he did this. I watched all the purple building shows he did during the pandemic. Made my Sundays. Always been a fan of his storytelling. If you haven’t heard it this is one of my favorites!
This was in punta cana at John Prine’s all the best fest in November of 2019. Probably the best vacation I’ve ever been on. Sad that 5 months late we lost John. I still haven’t heard many people talk about this, was hoping for a dvd or something. It seemed like such a high for everyone. Maybe it’s just to hard for them to go through it all?
