So, VMP published a book from the articles they wrote about the best record stores in the US? I can't speak for all of them, but I remember reading about the Michigan store (the name escapes me, it's in the upper peninsula) when they wrote it, and that choice was not even close to the best. I went there, it was mostly antique store rejects, albeit a TON of them.

Probably the Resonance Records releases. Everything else that I want looks to be “First Release” (Phish, The National, Comet is Coming). Probably just hit up Plaid Room at the crack of dawn when they go online. Agreed pretty weak list. This might be the first RSD without a Sun Ra release?

Phew, I'm glad that Jonathan Fire Eater is just RSD first and not an exclusive. I just might get to stay home this year.
