I just realised that I had missed out Better Oblivion Community Center. That seems so long ago that it’s almost unreal that it is still this year! That said while it’s obviously great I did prefer the gig to the record!

Wait, like mashups on steroids Girl Talk?! He's releasing a new album? If so I can't wait for that! Love his last 3 albums

Oops, no, I meant to type Girl Band, not Girl Talk. The album title must have clouded my mind momentarily... my bad.

Nice to see Face Stabber getting some love. It’ll make my top 10 I’m thinking. Such a fun album.

... or maybe I'm just losing my mind as I realize I left Sleater-Kinney - The Center Won't Hold off my list...

It's a solid top 5 for me right now. I didn't listen to any of the singles prior to getting the vinyl and admittedly went in with low expectations after Janet left, but I like it more and more with each repeated listen and I liked it a lot on first listen...

Here's my list, no particular order:
- Purple mountains - S/T
- Flying Lotus - Flamagra
- Big Theif - UFOF
- Dave - PSYCHODRAMA
- Thom Yorke - ANIMA
- Ty Segall - First Taste
- Vampire Weekend - Father of the Bride
- Fontaines D.C. - Dogrel
- The Murder Capital - When I Have Fears
- Bon Iver - i,i
- Bill Callahan - Shepherd in a Sheepskin Vest

I'm sure that there are some that I'm neglecting, but these were by far my most played 2019 albums, so far.

Your list is so diverse in genres. I'm gonna have to try some of the albums that I don't recognize (Uboa, Lingua Ignota, Blanck Mass) soon.

3 months ago I wrote an article linking a potential Biden nomination and the era of Trump to an overwhelming sense of dread among people under 40 AND its link to the potential return of alt-metal among the zeitgeist (based on rumors surrounding the new album of indie-pop icon Grimes).

Since then Korn, Slipknot (who I was never a fan of) and Tool have all released albums that sit among the most acclaimed albums of the year according to Metacritic.

Hey Ringer... hire me please.

(Also, I'm digging through your all's lists after a couple months away from music due to a combination of work and video games). Should have an update on my list sometime soon.
