After thinking about how amazing of a closer Contacy by Daft Punk is, I thought it’d be cool to make a thread dedicated to the best openers and closers for albums.

Off the top of my head some amazing openers are:
- Dark Fantasy (Kanye West - MBDTF)
- 21st Century Schizoid Man (King Crimson - ITCOFCK)
- Hunter (Björk - Homogenic)

And some of my favorite album closers are:
- Codeine Crazy (Future - Monster)
- Videotape (Radiohead - In Rainbows)
- Good Morning, Captain (Slint - Spiderland)
- Saint Pablo (Kanye West - The Life of Pablo)
- Contact (Daft Punk - Random Access Memories)

I Don’t Want to Want by Kelly Finnigan is a brilliant opener for The Tales People Tell.


This is outshined by Morning In America by Durand Jones and the Indications On American Love Call
 
I had this idea a while back but never followed through with it, glad to see someone stepped up and made it!
I thought of a lot of opening tracks but only a few closing tracks. I know there's a lot I'm not thinking of tho
