I personally think it’s the pinnacle of the Shoegaze genre. It’s a flawless album front to back.

Whenever, I’m listening to it in my car, I always crank the volume unbearably loud when “Dreams Burn Down” comes on. Those fucking drums.

And let’s not forget “Vapour Trail”. Low-key one of the greatest songs of all time.

Roger Waters - The Wall: Live in Berlin - I wore this album out as a kid. the whole concept and performance set against such a back-drop was mesmerizing. I could probably add up all listens from the 10 albums above and it wouldn't tally how many times I listened to this.
 
It´s always interesting that the lists get the more diverse if the year Comes Closer to the years many of us were active Music listeners. The further back in time we go the more we are obviously listen to a common Canon delivered by best of lists and publications
 
Went back and forth with a lot of these, but I've settled. Some dreamy music and hip-hop classics, for sure.

Here's what I like about this thread. There is always 1 or 2 albums that I'm like: ".....Wait, What??, Really?" Either, its an act or release I was totally unaware of or something that I never even tried to hear.

The 1990 version of that: Cocteau Twins - Heaven or Las Vegas.

I'm going to Audit the Heaven or Las Vegas Class over the weekend.

Maybe my least favourite year from the 90’s! But I love how just old-school in a timeless way so many of these albums are! Especially Mariah Carey, Public Enemy, Deee-Lite, Depeche Mode, Sinéad O’Connor & Ice Cube!
