As for my #1, it wasn't even close. Clocking in at almost 3 hours, I still listen to Hamilton at least once a month. And seeing it for the 4th time in a few weeks!

One of the GOAT years of this decade, really. This will be so hard to make a Top10 for...so many justifiable selections!

Revisiting some '15 records for this week. My girl Julia Holter dropped a record that year (many consider her best!), so she'll be on there for sure. Can't wait to construct this list!

I was late to the party. That was the first album that really hooked me on Thee Oh Sees. Love it.
Oh, I think I heard the album late 2017, like October or November. Found them through Gizz who I got into around Sketches of Brunswick East.

And there’s no late to the party, just a glad you’re here/there feeling. It’s all about enjoying the ride, not being anywhere at any specific time.

Looking back, this is such a sneaky good year. So diverse... So many apologies to Kamasi, Julia Holter, Vince Staples, Kendrick, UMO, KGATLW and others for having to leave them off. Hell I even loved the Marilyn Manson album this year.

A tremendous year in music! I had to put Carly Rae Jepsen in there because there are some stunning pop tracks in there, such as E•MO•TION, Run Away With Me, Let's Got Lost, All That & Boy Problems, which all have really captivating lyrics. Carly Rae Jepsen and Travis Scott's albums have aged really well already and are two records I feel have a timeless/classic feel to them, even though there are a few tracks from both "E•MO•TION" and "Rodeo" I dislike. Jamie xx sneaked into the top 10 for having the best track of the year - I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)!

2. Kamasi Washington - The Epic
3. Tame Impala - Currents
4. Julia Holter - Have You In My Wildnerness
