Stable Diffusion 2.0 brings big improvements to the images users can create. The update's restrictions, however, have upset many.

This is something we were just talking about at work. AI generated art is a very gray area in terms of legality.
And changes like these restrictions are being put in place by the creators to limit their legal liabilities. Legal expect the odds are better than not that when the laws catch up, this could be considered copyright infringement let alone the liability of being sued.

It’s amazing how much better AI image generators have become/how much more accessible the hardcore ones are. Made this in Leonardo.ai with basically the exact same prompt as the image in the quote above.

Leonardo.ai is free and the interface isn’t too tricky to figure out and no separate programs needed (Midjourney is a good one but it’s paid and requires you use Discord alongside it).

I created an Instagram account and Patreon dedicated to AI Generated Cat Art.
Hope to post daily pictures, take theme requests and eventually generate art of people's actually cats by creating training models from pictures of their cats they have submitted. Plan to use all the different AI generative platforms.
The Patreon has more pictures than what I posted on Instagram from each prompt. Decided hey why not with creating a Patreon, maybe I can fund the costs or subscriptions like Mid Journey which would run $60 a month to generate art.
