Bought it today, without hearing a second of it, based on this review and what i have heard from Tigers Blood (also purchased today, but i'll have to wait for it). St. Cloud was at my local in the RSD leftover bin for $20. Now it lives here with me, waiting on Tigers Blood to show up. Whats next??

Finally took that off the turntable for a break. Side three has me locked

Giving it a thorough listening now. It's definitely a more polished and 'completed' work than Reunions. I feel like side three is a climax and side four is almost a descent from the build up of the rest of the songs. Honestly, after listening to the first three sides it felt like it should...

I just bought the Kid A mnesiac 3 LP set, but I need the house to myself for a few hours to get through it at the proper volume

Following up on a previous conversation about Weathervanes, I retrieved it from my daughters house and it is currently on the turntable getting all the attention it deserves

I listened to it twice the week I got it and then let my daughter borrow it. I need to get it back and spin it a few more times. There was nothing that I didn't like, but it didn't set its hooks into me the first time through like Southeastern and Reunions did. The very first time I played...

Now spinning: Reunions Jason Isbell is most likely the closest to 'country' that I'll ever get, but his entire catalog is stellar. This is my favorite release of his.

There is not very much NOT to love about all of Isbells output. I'm stuck on Reunions right now. Keeps getting better!

Iron & Wine is such a great listen. The Shepards Dog was definitely a great introduction, but it's hard to find anything I don't like in their catalog.
