That kid has a voice!!! He's also adorable. Good job, Dad!!!

1/2 I was at a coffee shop in Nashville before Diarrhea Planet's final show and this kid was sitting next to me. The staff kept staring at him and whispering, which I thought was weird.

2/2 All of a sudden a gang of squealing tweenage girls burst through the door of the cafe and mobbed his table, spilling over into my space. I had to move to another table. Turns out the kid was Shawn Mendes. I still couldn't pick him out of a lineup

I saw him a handful of years ago when he was an opening act, I believe for Taylor Swift. He definitely was impressive even back then!

@chrb98 we saw him open for Taylor Swift years back too, and while that was good, his live show is on a whole different level now. I guess you'd expect that, but his live show definitely highlighted his musicianship, it's much more than just getting up there and playing his songs.
