No one said anything remotely rude. I don't see how it's rude to offer you money for something you're trying to get rid of. And who the hell on here has $65,000 that they can drop on a hobby at any given time?

While Im sure you have your personal reasons for not wanting to sell items individually, & I know how frustrating it can be when everyone is recommending what you’ve already thought of, I think it’s important to remember that almost everyone in that thread was speaking with pure kindness and a want to help you. I don’t think anyone was trying to insult you, or take a jab at your intelligence, or anything of the sorts

Really though my favorite part of all this is that you said you've looked up places to wholesale and obviously didnt like the price you got there, so you came here to offer us some great 65k "bargain" and then got mad at us for it. Classic.

LOL $65k is more than my salary (and I'm sure not just me)! If that really is/was the purported offer, not sure what your expectations for us are/were.

Enoch, Im not sure exactly what youre feeling or going through right now. But it’s become clear that nothing anyone says here can help you out. Even the well wishes are being ignored in lieu of you taking shots at others. If you don’t want our help or well wishes, that’s cool, but it genuinely begs the question: why are you still here? If you don’t want our help, ok, but don’t hang around just to insult us for trying

What's funny is that you get insulted by helpful suggestions, only to close that thread down and start up a new post that is even more antagonistic.

That passive aggressive assessment is a bit rich @Enoch while you're noting peoples' comments as "helpful" in speech marks. I don't know how it all escalated so quick in there but I really think you should live up to the threats you made to leave the forum (at least twice in there) along with the numerous times you have in the past. It certainly seems like you aren't finding any pleasure here.

I think that repeatedly promised, yet to be realized exit/break from the forum will do you good, your skin has clearly thinned in recent weeks/months, and I'm sorry to see it happen. We just tried to help you reach your goal of liquidation by offering advice, and it clearly struck a nerve - irrationality notwithstanding.

@Woob_woob I didn't get quotes from anywhere else and never said I did so that assumption you decided to make was 100% wrong. I came here first and had little expectation but you never know. I said I thought but all the potential options for selling my collection.

@Mr Moore I am quoting what people said their posts were, hence the quotes around helpful. It isn't meant to be passive-aggressive it was very direct. I didn't have time to cite every instance.

@chrb98 There were well wishes and then there was a continual piling on, people on this forum seem unable to understand that or don't care.

This is why we can't have nice things. I mean if we can't get along at what should be a fun thing like records then I give up. My Median collection value is 18,000 and I know I would be very lucky to get 10,000 out of it. Nothing other than houses are you going to get more than you paid for them.

Most people on here can probably afford a $100 on records a month. I think your best bet is taking it to a great record store an sell wholesale and the more expensive stuff you can Ebay or Discogs but even those aren't what they once were.
