I have a lot more single LPs than boxes or 3LP sets, and my single and 2LPs get a lot more touching. Keeps the covers nice and clean and protects from damage and dust.
my problem is that records like say thom yorkes anima, my collection of duster LPs, my soon coming sonic CD vinyl, mostly the more thick stuff (i think my copy of illinois is safe though because the 12 inch bonus is smaller)
Our new 2.5 mil Diskeeper measures 13.75 x 13.75 inches, and is big enough for multiple LP sets measuring over 1' wide, slipcases, and dowels at an affordable price. If you collect, 12 inch, multi-album sets, you'll love our new line of Ultimate Outers.
Shelf wear, ring wear, edge wear, the outer sleeve does its job well if you’re concerned about those things on the jacket. It can also help keep dust out of the jacket. But don’t feel compelled if you don’t really care about those things. Being happy with your collection is better than being stressed about it.
i'm just trying to be more sophisticated with my records... so slightly more audiophile but more completely (i still have a uturn and some middle of the road powered speakers)
so i dunno if i should get them because of things like anima having trouble with storing and any 3LP and trifold LPs.. specifcally because of looking at mofi outer sleeves
@duke86fan Just do you - don't feel like you have to do the same thing in the same way as everyone else. MoFi inners are great, but there are inners for half the price that don't have the paper backing. Clean records in the sink, protecting the labels with dent pullers.
