That's definitely one. My personal gear grinding is when I have alerts for VMP albums I want and get a notification that one's popped up and not ridiculously expensive only to find they're just selling the art print. People really spend that much only for an art print?

What was your question, what is the selling price and how many items does the seller have for sale?

@High Rant District Just trying to confirm that something is a tour press as it is listed, Seller has nearly 8000 items but looks to also be a record store.

That usually gets me to pass, no matter how bad I want it. If you don't have the time to answer a valid question, you have no need for my money ;)

@Twentytwo With that amount of inventory and them being a physical store, getting an answer to the question "are you lying about this listing" is gonna be tough. I'm guessing you're only asking because they have feedback indicating they send the wrong items.

I respectfully disagree 😶

@AnthonyI If someone has plenty of feedback and none of it says they send the wrong versions, and they have a lot of inventory and run a brick-and-mortar business, that kind of question is either gonna get no answer or a very delayed answer.

I once had someone message me on Discogs to ask if I would follow their instructions for building corner protectors if they placed an order. I saw that they had negatives as a buyer and I blocked them before they could order.

....but doesn't it deserve an answer @High Rant District? I mean I understand what your saying, I do, but I gotta be honest, even with stellar feedback you just need to make the time to answer certain questions. (Cont. Next Post)

If your doing so much business that you don't need to answer questions, well that's great for the seller, but my $30, 40, 50 wants to make sure I"m getting what I'm paying for. Maybe I'm just getting tired of people just accepting whatever they're given and then being looked at like their being demanding. (Cont. Next Post)

This goes for warps, label issues, and on and on. I know shit happens, but whats wrong with trying to cut down the odds?
High Rant District

@AnthonyI There's NOTHING wrong with trying to better your odds! I'm just suggesting having realistic expectations. With 8k items for sale, probably a lot of emails, packaging to do, and dealing with the real-life store. Time may be an issue.

@High Rant District I probably should have led with giving someone a week to 10 days on an important question "to you" is probably acceptable..........after that though ;)

One of my issues is that this particular pressing has never been sold on discogs and that they don’t mention color in the listing even though it’s a color pressing.
High Rant District

Is that release listed as color on the Discogs page you're looking at? If so, I wouldn't have mentioned color when I listed it.

Yeah I don't mention color if it's listed in the FTF

I definitely know the feeling. Some guy sent me the wrong copy of something a couple months back. The fact that it was priced well below the lowest sold should’ve tipped me off. Fortunately this has been the exception to the rule in my limited (~50 orders) experience
