I have finally found a record that leaves me at an impasse.
Musically, I absolutely love it.
But I find the guy's voice far, far too aggressive to enjoy the songs. On the fence about selling it...
I was not prepared to lose Wayne Shorter this year. Beyond being a fantastic soloist, his compositions literally influenced and changed the jazz landscape and language of songwriting. Make no mistake, this lost is tremendous.
I have posted about 120 records for sale on my discogs and sold roughly 20. I can honestly say, based on what has sold and what has not, that I clearly have no idea what is in demand.
Losing Tom Verlaine is a kick in the throat
I am always honored when I get to play "Marquee Moon."
Rest in peace to arguably the most inventive guitarist of the entire CBGB scene.
Started watching That 90's Show out of curiosity and, within the first 10 minutes of the show, they were blasting "Sad Tomorrow" by The Muffs. Well played, producers, well played.
ADVICE NEEDED.
I just acquired a pedal steel guitar with a brushed metal aluminum frame that has a clear epoxy coating. It is obvious that the previous owner did not clean the aluminum ever, and there is some weird white residue stain in places.
What would be an appropriate product to clean and restore the aluminum that would not take off the clear coating?
Played a Stranger Things gog the other night, and it was an honor to perform "Running Up That Hill" with Mates of State! If only I could find a shareable video...
