My work made me stay home for 10 days after testing positive for Covid, but I go back tomorrow, and it honestly flew by. It really didn't seem like I was off for more than a couple of days.

I just got an email for my 30th anniversary high school reunion. If I didn't feel old before, I certainly do now.
We had to put our cat Margot to sleep tonight... She was 17 years old and it was for the best but it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.
Well, I spoke too soon the other day. My wife has Covid for the first time. I'm still testing negative. I'm worried about her and the baby, since she's 6 months pregnant.
I know it's been talked about before but shipping notifications should be sent when a record actually ships and not when the label is created. My much anticipated Turnstile record "shipped" from NY last Monday but as of now it's still just a shipping label.

Bedouine performed a solid, laid-back set tonight. I'm a big fan of her first album but haven't listened to the last two releases much at all.
The opening act, Shannon Lay, was great as well. She was at the merch table after her performance and I got her new album, which she signed for me (and drew a Bart Simpson on it). Does anybody know her stuff? She's on Sub Pop.

Weyes Blood was a lot of fun last night. She has a new album coming this fall. She also said that she had family in the Sacramento area that were at the show. It was at a country bar called Goldfield Trading Post so that was interesting too.
Listening to some Weyes Blood today since my wife and I will be seeing her on Thursday night. I've never listened to much of her stuff but I do like a few songs here and there.
Bret McKenzie from Flight Of The Conchords just announced his first (non-comedic) solo album on Sub Pop and this is great...
I didn't know that AWOLNATION and Beck covering "Eye In The Sky" together would be this cool...
We'll, it's probably too soon to be Covid but I've definitely come down with the Coachella cold.

Speaking of Coachella, every ticket came with an NFT of a seed that will "bloom" into a flower tomorrow.
And each one earns you some kind of prize, including free admission for next year so I guess we'll see.
Made it down to Palm Springs for Coachella! My wife and I have gone to 15 of these in a row and this will probably be our last so it's kind of bittersweet.
The organization for Coachella for this year sounds horrible and I hope they fix it for next weekend. No water (!), hours to get in or out of parking, lines for everything.

Arlo Parks at the same time as Japanese Breakfast is probably the worst conflict. And Yard Act too early on Saturday. They added Arcade Fire though. -
