Can we agree, whether you're into his music or not, that Kanye as a human being is a total piece of shit only concerned about publicity and revenue and his personal gain? And if you happen to agree and are buying his records and going to his shows, why would you support that with your dollars?

If we fed our culture's obsession with celebrity into an artificial intelligence bot and asked it to create the ultimate vision of celebrity, it would still somehow spit out Kanye. And lemme tell ya, that's more of an indictment of we as a society than he himself.

I saw Kanye at Bonnaroo in 2014 and he showed up late and then went on this rant onstage about how people at Bonnaroo were so mean to him how the media convinced everyone that he was a crazy asshole. And he went on and on about how unfair it was that the media portrayed him as a crazy ranting asshole.

Ironically, that same weekend I saw Lauryn Hill, too, and while people always complain about her showing up late and being crazy, she actually put on a phenomenal show, played all the hits, and demonstrated what a real musical genius looks like. It's strange to me how many people think Kanye is a genius and think she's the crazy one.
