What happened?

I feel out of place in being a pop nerd who doesn't care for Taylor swift and isn't praising the new version of red (having tried the singles only)

She only did 1 song, but it was a 10 minute track. I couldn’t name but maybe 3 of her songs, but I thought it was a great performance.

I just don't really get Taylor swift praise

I remember everyone laughing at I knew you were trouble and how do was selling out..

Now pitchfork is probably going to give it a 9.3 or so on the new release... Meanwhile the vocals feel kinda wrong without her angst

Haters gonna hate. Shake it off but the last 2 drops go in your pants or something?

I’m kind of the opposite of Duke I guess. I don’t really keep up with pop music these days, but she kept my attention for that entire performance. My only issue with her in the early days was I felt she was kind of phony with her surprise at winning awards. But I guess I prefer that approach over arrogance, and it is irrelevant in terms of her songwriting and music in general.

I really don't see SNL as super relevant but I guess I'm wrong there. Remember when people got pissed off at Phoebe Bridgers smashing a guitar? God forbid we give women in music a platform to express themselves on national TV.

The 22 year old male Reddit hive mind was in strong force last night. I dug it personally and it’s ok if others didn’t but a lot of the criticisms were, frankly, sexist and reductive (not Dukey to be clear)

@waruv i didn't watch the SNL im talking about how.. intense the praise of the red recording is... all too well 10 minute is probably amazing.. i just don't see why taylor and this red recording is so hyped

i know you said not referring to me but 22 and AMAB and on reddit makes me still feel attacked
