I commented about reporting to a response to someone else on here and I was directly told to do so the last time, so this wasn't suddenly new info, it was staff recommended.

I cant say it any better than @High Rant District said in the thread. This is something you brought on yourself as far as I see and should have known and embraced the incoming response

So the forum should just be okay with people being "attacked" for sharing info some are interested in because others are very mad even though the info was contained to the appropriate place as told by said forum?

I dont view what happened in there as an attack and I viewed just as much hostility coming out as going in, which should have been predicted because of the the subject matter.

I think people should drop the VMP argument if they dont care anymore, but I also think people have the right to make that decision for themselves especially when they invested so much emotionally and monetarily into a company that did them extremely dirty.

I'd say in the future that a status like this isn't necessary, especially since the people you say are interested in this content are already consistently checking the VMP thread anyway.

I dont think you should get any sort of protection because you want to defend VMP and take meetings with them and want to post about it here. If those are things you want to do, you should understand there is going to be backlash to it. Dont speak up for a hated company if you dont want any of that hate falling at your feet.

@Melt Face Molly Drop I have seen at least one person comment in another thread that had no idea, which I thought might happen so I made a vague-ish comment here to alert people.

@Woob_woob I honestly no longer know how to respond to you, it seems you are saying not to post anything VMP. Also, I am extremely tired of this incorrect and quite frankly hurtful message I am here just to defend VMP. If you want to continue to spread this lie go ahead but I do take it personal.

I'm not saying dont post anything VMP. I'm also not saying that you are just here to defend VMP.

I am saying that if you are going to defend VMP the way you did in there, and post what they want you to say like that, you should expect and understand the predictable response that you received.

Because let's be honest, taking a meeting with them is defending them.

Again I'm not saying that's all you do, and have commended you in the past for being critical of them, but by taking a meeting with them you are siding yourself with them in alot of peoples eyes.

The post was far from a full defense, in fact, I went out of my way to make sure I included all my skepticism in my response because one, I am not trying to defend VMP and two, I want people to know that I am not here to defend them due to recent comments directed at me.

Also if youre going to get hurt because people think you are defending VMP, then maybe these types of post arent the best for you to be making?

I don't think it's fair to say simply taking a meeting is tantamount to defending them. I am, however, disappointed that the meeting seemed more to serve VMP's interests than anything else. But I hold VMP responsible for that and not Enoch.

People making that assumption is just that an assumption and labeling me for their assumption is hurtful.

I dont know man, I get what you were trying to do, I just dont see the point. I know you'll say because people asked you too, but like why put yourself in that position if you're not ready for the inevitable blow back.

@johnpisme Its tantamount to defending them because the only way they would have the meeting is if it served their interests. It's the only reason that company does ANYTHING.
