This was my fear of what the forum would become when the last one was dying.

I've started angry responses to a couple of people, and even almost started a private conversation with someone about their comments, and then just decided to not potentially make it any worse, so I kept it at reporting and moved on. This is a bad day for me for non-forum reasons, and only came on here for good conversations.

Sadly, the one thing it does show is we need one or two more West Coast mods so someone can step in sooner. Clearly, we can't police ourselves from making personal attacks, regardless of how/why this forum started.

You do you, but you're spreading pain/hate/whatever you want to call it by being the mouthpiece of that company and taking private meetings with them and then making a point to post a status about it.

Also a you do you situation, but I dont see anything in that thread that is report worthy except for maybe the bomb joke.

You do you, but why would you go into VMP threads if you have no interest in the company anymore?

@A Lost Highway because I look at every thread on this forum? Because something is happening there? Because enoch directed everyone's attention there? I'm not participating but I'm definitely watching, it's always good to know as much information as possible.

Most of the responses were people being angry that he dared pass along the information he received (hey, like calling someone a mouthpiece!), and then being disingenuous assholes in their responses when he answered them. If you're choosing to not see it, fair enough.

I'm just saying, if you dont want heat dont start a fire, and @Enoch 100% started this fire

Yeah, can't get behind that to be honest. Personally, I only look at threads I have an interest in, but thats just me.

@Woob_woob, not even close to reality. He passed along information & people chose to attack him rather than vent their anger at the company.

@serotonein He cant be that naive and you cant be that naive, but if that's how you see it, that's cool. I have no skin in the game and am just enjoying a late night conversation.

You can't be that naive to not understand that a significant portion of this forum still has an interest in VMP, even if another (louder) portion of this forum does not?

@A Lost Highway I completely understand that and why I'm not in that thread giving my opinions. I'm all for people still enjoying VMP, but its foolish to think you can act the way @Enoch is acting and not expect a response like hes getting

What way is he 'acting'? He got a meeting. He's stating what he heard in the meeting. He's stating his opinions on what he heard.

@serotonein I'm not trolling, I'm explaining how I see the situation, and from my point of view the whole thread is in the wrong (not report worthy in the wrong tho...), but @Enoch started it, showed immediate hostility and it blows my mind that anyone expected a different result.

And yes people are being rude to @Enoch but hes being rude right back, so it's hard to have sympathy either way.

@Woob_woob people expressed interest in hearing about the meeting when I posted about it previously. I learned from that to just point people to info and not put it here. The need to become hostile shouldn't be someone's first response. There are many places on the forum searching out a place to be hostile isn't cool. Did I respond well every time, no, and that is on me.
