i dunno whats the funniest part...

the trip on the entrance, the constant rambling... or the glittery stormtrooper mask

@duke86fan there is more to unpack. At :55 Ric Flair is leaving in the background and literally replaces himself with a cardboard cutout of himself wearing the same suit. Also, the Shockmaster thinks his voiceover is starting when Sid beigns yelling so he begins gesturing too early

The whole first minute sounds like my wife and I when we’re arguing.

Holy Shit that is awesome. I am in the middle of rewatching all the WWF Pay-Per-Views on Peacock. I am on the cusp of the “Attitude” Era, Summer Slam 97 (I started at Wrestlemania III). I was thinking about doing WCW Pay-Per-Views next but I think this seals the deal, I wanna see the the Shockmaster in action!

So, I hadn’t watched wrestling with any sort of regularity since the late 90s. Basically I loved it as a kid during the Hulkamania years then in my Junior High/Early High School years didn’t pay much attention until the late 90s during the Monday Night Wars…

I still have cable and one of the perks is free access to Peacock who early this year took over the WWE streaming platform and once football ended I was looking for something to watch and thought I would get Wrestlemania III a watch for nostalgia purposes, assuming that likely I would turn it on for 20 minutes and then turn it off due to indifference as the 39 year old me and the 9 year old me are quite different…

Turns out my inner child absolutely loved it! It was so over the top and ridiculous and fun but also interspersed amazing feats of athleticism and soap opera worthy levels of drama. I couldn’t get enough. So I decided to keep going. Rewatching all the WWF PPV’s, while also pulling up Wikipedia as a handy reference guide. I’ve been regularly watching 3 to 4 PPV’s a week since.
